EIF Reopens Impact Acceleration Program for a Second Round of Applications in Partnership with C-Quadrat Ampega Social Fund and RECONOMY

 

Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) announces a second round of applications to its Impact Acceleration Program, designed to identify, accelerate, and invest in early-stage tech startups creating measurable social and environmental impact.  The program is implemented in partnership with C-Quadrat Ampega Asset Management Armenia (CQAA) Social Fund, with the support of the RECONOMY program funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and implemented by Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation.

The Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) announces a call for mural concepts for the staircase walls of the High-Tech Accelerator at Engineering City. The purpose of this call is to create a contemporary, unique, and inspiring work of art that will enrich the Engineering City environment and become an important part of the identity of the high-tech community by bringing together art, technology, and creativity within a single space.

Smart Contest and IBM Mentor Day


IBM, the Ministry of Economy of RA and Enterprise Incubator Foundation are organizing Smart Contest and IBM Mentor day in Armenia within the scopes of the IBM Center of Innovative Solutions and Technologies project. The contest aims to support entrepreneurial capacity building in Armenia as well as promoting innovation globally in various technology aspects.

 

Within the scopes of Smart Contest Armenia teams of students and startups should present their technology solutions in the form of ideas or prototypes.

 

Presented ideas should be commercially viable and should correspond to at least one of the three main criteria: Intelligent, Interconnected and Instrumented. The mentioned criteria mean that the technology solutions to be presented in the scopes of Smart Contest Armenia must suggest innovative approaches connecting people, systems and objects to use smart technologies for measuring, sensing and monitoring various aspects of existing global problems. Presented ideas should be based on technologies such as mobile, social, cloud, analytics and big data to create solutions in one of the following priority industries such as Smarter City, Transportation, Healthcare (including Pharmacy), Banking, Public and Social services.

 

Selected teams and startups will be provided mentorship and guidance from IBM’s top specialists, as well as an opportunity to win monetary prize as well as to participate in IBM Global Entrepreneur program as well as other events and mentor days worldwide.

 

Technology teams and startups registered in Armenia are eligible to participate in the program. For more details please refer to the full announcement .
