EIF Launches Impact Acceleration Program in Partnership with C-Quadrat Ampega Social Fund and RECONOMY

 

Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) announces the launch of its Impact Acceleration Program designed to identify, accelerate, and invest in early-stage tech startups creating measurable social and environmental impact.  The program is implemented in partnership with C-Quadrat Ampega Asset Management Armenia (CQAA) Social Fund, with the support of the RECONOMY program funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and implemented by Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation, in partnership with C-Quadrat Ampega Asset Management Armenia (CQAA) Social Fund.

We are pleased to announce an internship opportunity for motivated students and young specialists to join our newly established Neurotechnology Laboratory.

This two-month internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to contemporary neurotechnology methods, tools, and research practices, offering a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of neuroscience, engineering, and data science.

Thе internship program is implemented by the Science Incubator of the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF) at the newly established Neurotechnology Laboratory within the High-Tech Accelerator in Engineering City.

GTC has become a favorite meeting place for pupils


2015 Gyumri Technological Center (GTC) organized Kodu programming courses for 141 7th grade students from 4 Gyumri schools. The courses lasted approximately 1 month, during which students learnt the basics of programming, game development and animation, algorithmic thinking as well as gained team working skills. During the course students were divided into teams and were assigned to develop games on their favorite topics. As a result on June 18th, GTC hosted a screening of the best games developed by the students.


The trainings are expected to have  continuous nature, the goal of which is to train the teachers who will carry on the courses to the schools and teach other students Kodu visual programming tools.
To ensure the involvement of new schools and continuation of the project a meeting-discussion with a number of schools was held on the same dayin Gyumri.

 

GTC has been founded by the Enterprise Incubator Foundation, the Government of RA and the World Bank. Some of the most important activities carried out by Gyumri Technological Center are the educational programs for professional capacity building, trainings aimed to develop IT skills and provide knowledge to region’s youth, as well as trainings on clean technologies, engineering, telecommunications, multimedia, etc.
