The EIF Science Incubator was established in 2022, at the initiative of the "Enterprise Incubator" Foundation with the support of PMI Science R&D Center Armenia, to be the crucial node in the chain of versatile programs to develop the scientific ecosystem in Armenia.

The main mission of the EIF Science Incubator is to ensure effective bilateral cooperation between the industrial and scientific communities through the exchange of research and knowledge and by directing and facilitating the process of science commercialization.

ARC Semiconductor Lab Project Manager

 

 


We are looking for a Project Manager for the Semiconductor Lab within the “Advanced Research Center”' (ARC) project.

 

Position Overview։

The Semiconductor Lab Project Manager will oversee and coordinate research and development projects within the Semiconductor Research Lab. This role involves managing the development of cutting-edge integrated circuit technologies and their applications across various high-impact fields such as car autonomy, space technology, AR/VR devices, and next-generation wireless communication systems.

 

Key Responsibilities։

  • Plan, execute, and monitor Lab activities
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and researchers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to ensure project goals are met.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the lab and the stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project progress and address any concerns promptly.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of quality for all research outputs and prototypes.
  • Identify potential risks in project execution and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare detailed project reports, technical documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Team Creation and Onboarding: Create teams and onboard them efficiently to initiate and carry out projects.
  • Project Facilitation: Facilitate the initiation and execution of new projects to align with lab goals.
  • Research Coordination: Coordinate research activities to ensure they contribute to the overall success of the lab.
  • Support for Start-ups: Assist in the establishment of start-ups originating from lab research or affiliated projects.

 

Qualifications։

  • Education: Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Semiconductor Technology or a related field.
  • Experience:  Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in semiconductor technologies.

 

Skills:

  • Strong project management skills, including familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

The goal of the “Advanced Research Center” project is to enhance the competitiveness of Armenia’s engineering sector in the global market by supporting research, development, and commercialization, and by uniting the efforts of international companies, leading US universities, and Armenia’s engineering cluster.

 

The Project is implemented by the Enterprise Incubator Foundation with funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in cooperation with the Engineering Association, National Instruments, and Synopsys.
