ARC Automotive Lab Manager

 

 We are looking for a Manager for the Automotive Lab within the “Advanced Research Center” (ARC) project.

 

Position Overview։

The Automotive Lab Manager will oversee and coordinate research and development projects within the Automotive Research Lab. This role involves managing the development of cutting-edge automotive technologies for the most advanced applications such as autonomous vehicles, electric vehicles, and air mobility. 

 

Key Responsibilities։

  • Plan, execute, and monitor Lab activities
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and researchers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Efficiently allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to ensure project goals are met.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the lab and the stakeholders. Provide regular updates on project progress and address any concerns promptly.
  • Implement and maintain high standards of quality for all research outputs and prototypes.
  • Identify potential risks in project execution and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare detailed project reports, technical documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Team Creation and Onboarding: Create teams and onboard them efficiently to initiate and carry out projects.
  • Project Facilitation: Facilitate the initiation and execution of new projects to align with lab goals.
  • Research Coordination: Coordinate research activities to ensure they contribute to the overall success of the lab.
  • Support for Start-ups: Assist in the establishment of start-ups originating from lab research or affiliated projects.

 

Qualifications։

  • Education: Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in engineering or physics.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in engineering or physics.

 

Skills:

  • Strong project management skills, including familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

The Project is implemented by the Enterprise Incubator Foundation with funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in cooperation with the Engineering Association, National Instruments, and Synopsys.
