The EIF Science Incubator was established in 2022, at the initiative of the "Enterprise Incubator" Foundation with the support of PMI Science R&D Center Armenia, to be the crucial node in the chain of versatile programs to develop the scientific ecosystem in Armenia.

The main mission of the EIF Science Incubator is to ensure effective bilateral cooperation between the industrial and scientific communities through the exchange of research and knowledge and by directing and facilitating the process of science commercialization.

A Worldwide Startup Contest in Yerevan

 

Seedstar Yerevan contest organized by the Microsoft Innovation Center jointly with Seedstars World will start on October 7. Seedstar is a worldwide startup competition in emerging markets and fast growing startup scenes, which will be held in Armenia for the first time.

 

Seedstar Yerevan is open to startups that have been founded for no more than 2 years, with a maximum amount of 0.5 million USD to date and a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). The winners of the Yerevan contest will travel to Switzerland to participate in Seedstar worldwide contest where they will have a chance to compete for funds in the amount of  500 000 US dollars as well as receive consultancy from mentors, successful entrepreneurs and other investors as well as participate in accelerators. Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia jointly established by  Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF),  United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Microsoft Corporation. It also encourages education institutions to embrace new knowledge to meet the current and future market demand by providing an infrastructure and resources.
