Call for Applications 

The Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF), with the support of PMI Science R&D Center Armenia, is excited to announce the Faculty Research Funding Program 2025. This initiative is designed to foster innovative research that addresses the industry’s current challenges, bridging the gap between academic research and industry needs.

The program aims to provide financial and systemic support to applied research projects conducted by teams from leading universities, research institutes, innovative start-ups, and forward-thinking companies.

A Worldwide Startup Contest in Yerevan

 

Seedstar Yerevan contest organized by the Microsoft Innovation Center jointly with Seedstars World will start on October 7. Seedstar is a worldwide startup competition in emerging markets and fast growing startup scenes, which will be held in Armenia for the first time.

 

Seedstar Yerevan is open to startups that have been founded for no more than 2 years, with a maximum amount of 0.5 million USD to date and a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). The winners of the Yerevan contest will travel to Switzerland to participate in Seedstar worldwide contest where they will have a chance to compete for funds in the amount of  500 000 US dollars as well as receive consultancy from mentors, successful entrepreneurs and other investors as well as participate in accelerators. Microsoft Innovation Center Armenia jointly established by  Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF),  United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Microsoft Corporation. MIC Armenia is an innovative and effective approach to build core competencies in business and soft skills in technology among a growing number of small and medium IT companies. It also encourages education institutions to embrace new knowledge to meet the current and future market demand by providing an infrastructure and resources.
